RTI International has just released a new study commissioned by the NC Sustainable Energy Association. The study, the The Economic Impact Analysis of Clean Energy Development in North Carolina, provides a series of key findings that reveal sizeable contributions to jobs, investment and savings in North Carolina from clean energy development. Of note, from 2007-2013, biomass made up 6% of total renewable energy investments while producing 72% of the 6.8 million MWh generated.
