The 25x’25 hosted a media call to refute the latest assertions made by Princeton researcher Tim Searchinger, the principal author of a highly contentious paper on biofuel and biomass production. The World Resources Institute report trots out a new version of the debunked contentions that any dedicated use of land for growing bioenergy comes at the cost of not using that land for growing food or animal feed, or for storing carbon. Please see the 25x’25 Statement in response to the WRI report.
